David Majors And Alexander Majors Remembered After Fatal Bringhurst House Fire In Carroll County, Indiana
David Majors, 44, and Alexander Majors, 15, died after a house fire early Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Carroll County, Indiana.
Emergency crews responded at about 4:10 a.m. to a residence in the 2000 block of South 500 East after reports of a working structure fire with someone believed trapped inside.
Firefighters from Flora, Burlington, Cutler, Camden, and Delphi searched the home and found David and Alexander on the second floor.
Officials pronounced both residents dead at the scene.
Two other occupants survived, with one taken by ambulance and another airlifted to area hospitals, and officials reported both in stable condition.
The Bringhurst community has shared condolences and support for the Majors family as loved ones remember David and Alexander for their kindness, warmth, and lasting presence.
