Hannah Heflin, 22, passed away Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, after a tragic jet ski accident.
Hannah was the beloved child of Tom and Kim Heflin, sibling of Nicole, and partner of Annika Steinbach, who stayed by Hannah’s side during 45 minutes of resuscitation efforts.
Hannah had recently graduated from K-State with a degree in psychology and planned to pursue a PhD.
Loved ones described Hannah as resilient, intelligent, funny, kind, and loving, with a warm spirit that touched many people.
A fundraiser organized by Avery Pruett on June 16, 2026, listed $1,880 raised toward an $18,000 goal through 32 donations to help the Heflin family with funeral expenses and lawyer fees.
