Johnny R. Brown, 61, of Selma, passed away after an early morning bicycle crash on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Dallas County.
Authorities said the crash happened around 4 a.m. on Alabama Highway 14, about two miles west of Selma, when a Toyota Corolla driven by 60-year-old Walter J. Bell hit Brown’s bicycle.
Emergency crews took Brown to Vaughan Regional Medical Center, where medical staff provided care before Brown later passed away.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency continues to review the circumstances and has not shared further updates.
