Patrick John Stubblefield Remembered After Fatal Highway 18 Head-On Crash Near Otis In Tillamook County, Oregon
Patrick John Stubblefield, 43, died on May 30, 2026, after a head-on crash on Highway 18 near milepost 13.5, close to Otis in Tillamook County, Oregon.
Officials said the crash happened just after 1:18 p.m. when an eastbound black Cadillac sedan crossed into the westbound lane and hit a Hyundai Sonata.
Patrick rode as a passenger in the Cadillac, and emergency responders pronounced them dead at the scene.
The Cadillac driver and the people in the Hyundai were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries, and crews closed the road while responders worked at the scene.
Authorities continue to review the lane departure and have not released final conclusions as of June 2, 2026.
