Reese Autumn Player, 22, of Bishopville, passed away early Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after a single-vehicle crash on Bishopville Highway near Favor Road in Kershaw County, South Carolina.
Authorities said Reese drove a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck eastbound shortly before 3:00 a.m. when the vehicle left control and overturned multiple times.
An iPhone automatic crash alert notified 911 and helped emergency responders locate the wreckage in the dark stretch east of Camden.
