Skyler B. Gray, 22, And Nevaeh S. Schweinsberg, 19, Remembered After Fatal Butler County Route 356 Crash On May 16
Skyler B. Gray, 22, of Cadogan, and Nevaeh S. Schweinsberg, 19, of Butler, died after a vehicle crash at about 10:12 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, along Route 356, also known as Freeport Road, in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police said Skyler drove a 2016 Honda Accord westbound when the car left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.
Authorities pronounced Skyler and Nevaeh, who was a passenger, dead at the scene.
A 17-year-old girl from Butler was ejected during the rollover and airlifted by STAT Medevac to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for serious injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have not announced final conclusions.
Families, friends, and the Butler County community now mourn two young lives while also hoping for the injured teenager’s recovery.
