Community Mourns Alina Toone And Jeremiah Toone After Fatal Cortlandt Manor House Fire On May 27, 2026
Alina Toone, 17, and Jeremiah Toone, 15, died after a house fire at their family home in Cortlandt Manor on May 27, 2026.
Their parent, Officer Gregory Toone, serves as a Westchester County Correction Officer and was at work when the early morning fire occurred.
A fundraiser organized by Jessica Shannon on May 28, 2026, has raised $12,775 toward a $20,000 goal through 101 donations to support funeral expenses, temporary housing, and urgent family needs.
