Keelavor Devon Robinson Bannister Remembered For Kindness, Generosity, And A Lasting Community Legacy In Waukegan
Keelavor Devon Robinson Bannister has passed away after years of living with kidney disease and several autoimmune conditions following a diagnosis in 2018.
Family member Marisia Robinson-Bannister created a memorial fundraiser on May 28, 2026, to help cover farewell costs and honor Keelavor’s life.
The fundraiser had raised $2,042 toward an $8,000 goal through 18 donations at the time shared.
Loved ones remembered Keelavor for kindness, generosity, humor, and a deep commitment to caring for children and supporting people in need.
Keelavor also held pride as a Waukegan West High School graduate, and that school spirit remained an important part of their story.
The family said long-term care costs created financial hardship, and they hope to provide a dignified burial that reflects Keelavor’s legacy.
Memorial and service details will be announced later by the family.
