Jackson Shawen, 26, Remembered In Weddington, North Carolina, With Celebration Of Life Planned For June 13, 2026
Jackson Shawen, of Weddington, North Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 26.
Jackson was born on August 22, 1999, and leaves a family and community who acknowledge this deep loss.
Jackson was predeceased by grandparents Bob and Jane Shawen, and Tom and Fran Ladd.
Jackson is survived by parents Scott Shawen and Linda Shawen, siblings Nick with Melanie, Bradley, Maren, and Elise, nieces Nora and Genny, along with 19 aunts and uncles and 32 cousins.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5897 Hemby Rd, Weddington, NC 28104.
In lieu of flowers, the family noted gifts may be made to the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust or Oak Grove Cemetery.
