Jatives Moate, a 34-year-old Georgia native from Sylvester and a parent of three, passed away early Saturday morning, May 9, 2026, outside Pockets Pool and Pub on Sharer Road in Tallahassee.
The incident happened just past 2 o’clock as the night was winding down, and first responders provided urgent lifesaving care at the scene.
Authorities reported that Moate had been struck multiple times, and despite immediate efforts, Moate passed away at the location.
