Jesus “El Queso” Olivas passed away peacefully after a long period of serious health challenges and repeated hospitalizations that began in September 2025.
Veneralda Olivas shared the family’s loss in a fundraiser created on May 13, 2026, explaining that Jesus entered the hospital again on May 1 as their condition continued to decline.
The fundraiser, organized from Wichita, KS, has raised $2,681 toward a $4.5K goal through 16 donations to help cover funeral expenses and final arrangements.
Family members remembered Jesus as a beloved parent, family member, and friend whose presence brought laughter, care, and love to many people.
