Federico Aurelio Cadena Guzman Remembered As A Devoted Family Member After Five-Year Cancer Journey

Federico Aurelio Cadena Guzman, also known as Papa, Tata, and Big Leo, passed away after a five-year cancer journey, according to a fundraiser created on May 14, 2026.

Aurelio leaves behind spouse Victoria, daughter Vicky, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, four nieces helped raise, brothers, and sisters.

The family described Aurelio as a retired waste management worker who worked throughout life to provide for loved ones and support others in need.

Vicky spent the last five years as Aurelio’s full-time caregiver while the family managed health costs on a fixed income.

Organizer Elizabeth Aguilar shared that the fundraiser has raised $895 of a $3.5K goal through 15 donations to help honor Aurelio’s final wish.

The family hopes to return Aurelio’s ashes to Mexico, including the meaningful journey from Tijuana to Obregon, Sonora.

Memorial service details and funeral information will be announced later by family members.
