A fundraiser created by Sonya Lawson-Salmasi on April 30, 2026, seeks to help Bonnie remain in Katie’s home and cover the mortgage, utilities, and care needs.
As of the post, the effort had raised $2,950 toward a $10,000 goal through 8 donations.
Bonnie shared that Katie was their soul’s mate and that their nearly 15 years together shaped a lasting legacy of love, family, and community service.
Bonnie also noted uncertainty around disability claims and the difficult task of moving forward with their kids and grandbaby.
