Roy Emerson passed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at San Juan Nursing Home in Farmington, New Mexico, according to a fundraiser organized by Pamela Peters.
Pamela shared that Roy Emerson was 79 and that in 2025, Pamela relocated from Los Angeles to provide full-time care.
The fundraiser states that Roy Emerson’s health declined at the start of 2026, leading to nursing home care in Bloomfield, New Mexico, more than an hour and a half from the family home in Arizona.
Pamela also noted three emergency admissions, extended ICU care, and significant care-related bills as the family arranges burial plans.
As of the post, the fundraiser had raised $2,170 toward a $9,000 goal through 16 donations.
The family asked for prayers during this difficult time and said details regarding memorial services, obituary, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
