Eber Sanchez, 22, Of Edinburg Remembered After Early Morning McAllen Road Collision On June 12, 2026
Eber Sanchez, a 22-year-old resident of Edinburg, died after an early morning road collision in McAllen on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Local police said the incident happened at about 5:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of South McColl Road as the workday was beginning.
Sanchez drove a Chevrolet Silverado that collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 41-year-old Cesar Eduardo Martinez Jr.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and tried to help, but both drivers died there from their injuries.
Investigators continue to review the scene, vehicle positions, tire marks, and road conditions from that early hour to determine what led to the collision.
