Galina Gladkova passed away very suddenly less than two weeks after a spouse’s unexpected death and two days after the funeral, according to a memorial fundraiser created on May 19, 2026.
Galina leaves behind an 11-year-old child, Charles, who now receives care and support from Galina’s sister, Yelena.
The family described Galina as a professional nurse who devoted a career to caring for others and brought warmth, food, and generosity to everyone who entered the home.
Sydney Kozyrev and two others organized the fundraiser to ease financial strain, with $2,585 raised toward a $10,000 USD goal through 23 donations.
The family said memorial service details and an obituary notice will follow at a later time.
