Kelsey Lane Merritt Of Caldwell, Texas, Remembered With Memorial Service Planned For June 4, 2026
Kelsey Lane Merritt, of Caldwell, Texas, passed away on May 17, 2026, at age 33.
Kelsey was born on May 19, 1992, and leaves a meaningful legacy among family, friends, and all who knew Kelsey’s vibrant spirit.
Kelsey was preceded in passing by sister Jessica and grandparents Bill Merritt, Ben Urbanek, and Ellen Urbanek.
Kelsey is survived by parents Mike Merritt and Marian Merritt, brother J. D. Merritt with L. J., grandmother Pat Merritt, and nieces and nephews Lilly Merritt, Blakely Sumner, Lincoln Sumner, Kelton Sumner, and Cash Merritt.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at 245 Country Club Dr, Caldwell, TX 77836, with a reception at the same location at 2:30 PM.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home is handling arrangements, and the family noted that donations may honor Kelsey through Habitat for Humanity, Central Texas Food Bank, Genesis Women’s Shelter, or a shelter or rescue of choice.
