Sammy Vance, of Cedar, Iowa, passed away on May 18, 2026, at age 34.
Sammy was born on March 17, 1992, and leaves a lasting place in the lives of family, relatives, and friends.
Sammy leaves parents Carol Vance and Gaylen Vance, siblings Ben Vance with Kate Parsons, Jacob Vance, and Kari Vance, grandmother Mimi Thompson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family records also remember grandparents Pete Thompson, Ardis Vance, and Elaine Vance, along with aunts Gloria Yoder and ReNee Vance.
Visitation will take place Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cedar Memorial, 4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Shueyville Church, followed by burial at Cedar Memorial.
