Stanley Lang Remembered After Passing On May 9, 2026 While Fishing, As Community Supports Funeral Fund
Stanley Lang, a 19-year-old 2025 New Auburn graduate and UW Stout student, passed away on May 9, 2026, while fishing.
Elliott Gotham created a memorial fundraiser on May 13, 2026, to help with funeral expenses and honor Stanley’s kindness, service, and community spirit.
The fundraiser has raised $1,955 toward a $13,000 goal through 21 donations.
Stanley took part in sports, 4-H, FFA, and many local efforts, and many remember Stanley for patience, determination, a caring heart, and a bright smile.
The family also plans to give support to Bruce’s Legacy, Search and Recovery, in gratitude for helping bring closure to family and friends.
Memorial service details, obituary information, and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
