Toshchel Monee Demus, 31, Of Steubenville, Ohio, Remembered For Youth Mentorship, Public Speaking, Community Service, And A May 30 Celebration Of Life
Toshchel "Monee" Demus, of Steubenville, Ohio, died on May 15, 2026, at the age of 31.
Toshchel was born on October 20, 1994, and leaves cherished memories with family, friends, and the wider Steubenville community.
Loved ones remember Toshchel for public speaking, encouraging youth with wisdom and scripture, and supporting the Ja'Quan Lavender Foundation in its mission to inspire young people and uplift the community.
Toshchel was predeceased by grandfather John Snider, aunt Fena Creech, and uncles Jerry G. Jeter, Perry Jeter, Clyde Demus, and Rev. Donald Creech.
Toshchel is survived by parents Eric Demus and Michelle Miniefield, siblings, grandmothers Emma Turner and Elizabeth Miniefield, close friends, and Michael Todd.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 708 N 5th St, Steubenville, OH 43952.
A celebration of life will follow at 12:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church.
